Dr. Lee Sun is an accomplished engineer, business executive, and attorney, holding two doctorate degrees in Engineering and in Law (PhD and JD). In addition to his academic and professional achievements, Dr. Sun is committed to public service through serving on the Irvine City Investment Advisory Committee and Finance Commission for the past six years, including two years as the unanimously elected chair of the Investment Advisory Committee. Dr. Sun also served as President of Asian American Advocacy Alliance and as board directors of several non-profit community organizations.
Having been Irvine residents for twenty-two years, Dr. Sun and his wife are deeply rooted in the Irvine community. They take pride in the accomplishments of their four children, all of whom graduated from the excellent Irvine public school system and further pursued higher educations at Harvard, UChicago, and UC Berkeley. Dr. Sun and his wife are active volunteers in various Irvine city commissions and community organizations, demonstrating their commitment to making a positive impact to the community.
